The Last Mile

"The last mile is always the toughest."

I heard this quote a month or so ago.  Anyone who's run a 5k, 10k, Marathon, bicycle race or whatever event, knows this....that last mile takes forever and is usually the toughest.
I can't even count how many road trips I've been on, when I know after driving for so long, the last 60 miles or hours drag on.  "Are we there yet?"

The hot summer is on us, and I know this will be one of the toughest.  I can't see the finish line yet, but it's there.  The count down is on.
