The dreaded extreme heat has returned, but now we have the humidity settling in. I think it will be 115 degrees on Friday with a high dew point, which really makes it roasty toasty.
We are all waiting for the rain. The field is dry and even the weeds are giving up. Luckily, all the little critters have sprinkler water to keep them going. Their own little oasis. The homeless folks search for any type of shade. I watched a young man, pulling his pit bull in wagon, stop and dump water all over the dog to cool him down. He had a gallon jug and used most of it on his dog. I hope their journey keeps them safe.
