It's bloody well hot right now, but I guess it's summer, eh. Not much to do but stare at the window at the birds, drinking in the puddles forming around the rose bushes. Tough being a bird in this heat. :)
One of the last pictures I took on the Fourth of July was this lizard at the Wetlands. It's hard to snap a photo of these fast moving guys/girls. They are all quite large out there since they eat so well, and probably very few predators.
This photo is all sorts of wrong. Too dark and too crooked, but I have to say, it's one of my favorites so far.
