When the cicadas sing loudly, I know the monsoon rains are here, but the storms break up before they hit my area of the city. A little thunder and lightning but that's about it.
Dang it. The wild weather is the only fun part of the summer!
It's only July, so hopefully there will be more opportunities for monsoon fun in August. Maybe I'll spend more time in Tucson, they always seem get more monsoon storms and rain.
