2005 - Chevrolet Resistor Repairs Part II

Two trips to Tucson ($50,) one extended warranty deductible ($100) and the heater resistor and the blower were finally repaired by the fine mechanics in Tucson Arizona.

I tried to find a local auto repair shop in Mesa Arizona, and it was $90 to diagnose the problem.  Plus, the shops who "specialized" in GMC/Chevy repairs were not open on Saturday, and this meant dropping my truck off on a Monday, walking home, and riding the bus to and from work.

In the end it was worth a couple of weekend drives of over 200 miles for good service, with no fee for the diagnose and help with the warranty.

Tucson is a large city with a small town feel and good people.  If you need good auto repair and tires, check out Big O Tires on Alvernon and 22nd Street.  Rosie is great with the warranty questions, prices are great and everyone is helpful and friendly!

Here are more pictures of the day.  Marley and I stopped on the way home and check out the river wash.  The "washes" are great for finding beautiful stones and Marley loves to run in the sand.
