July 4th, 2022 Monday
When I was a kid, the Fourth of July was the beginning of the end of summer vacation. I knew the days would soon get shorter, and we would have to start shopping for new school clothes.
Now a days, I'm grateful the days are growing shorter, and the boiling hot desert temperatures will soon come to an end, and I can come out of summer hibernation.
Yesterday, I said good-bye to an old friend. My trusted companion for many years, the iPhone 7 Plus, which had been failing me for many months by dropping calls and not delivering voicemails unless I rebooted it.
From our walk yesterday, the last iPhone 7 plus photo - Skeeter on a rock, looking for coyotes.
